Ronnie Bridges joins Jacksonville University's athletic department as the Assistant Director of Business Operations, bringing her wealth of multifaceted experience in college athletics.
Native to Baltimore, Md., Bridges arrived at Jacksonville following a five-year tenure at Goucher College, where she most recently served as the Athletics Operations & Compliance Coordinator. There she was responsible for the daily financial management of the athletic department, overseeing budget tracking, purchasing requisitions and expense reports, processing accounts payable and receivables, managing financial documentation and reporting.
Beyond financial considerations, Bridges also handled all key operational functions for the department, including responsibilities such as organizing team travel arrangements, coordinating with officials and assignors, managing external facility rental contracts, administering compliance paperwork and assisting in the planning and execution of all major athletic events throughout the year.
Bridges earned her Master's degree in Athletic Training from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (May 2019) and her Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences from Gettysburg College (May 2017), where she was a four-year member of the field hockey team and president of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee. She is also a Certified High Performance Coach certified through the High Performance Institute (May 2025).
