Jacksonville University Athletics announced the promotion of Justin Wilkins to Senior Associate Athletic Director for Internal Affairs in July 2021. In his new role, Wilkins is responsible for the overall administration of five sports (Men’s Soccer, Women’s Soccer, Men’s Golf, Women’s Golf, and Softball). In addition, Wilkins will provide direct oversight for the compliance office, the office of Student-Athlete Services, and all athletics fields and facilities. He also serves as the athletic liaison to campus constituent groups, including Capital Projects, and Facility Services.

Wilkins joined the Jacksonville staff in 2015 as the Associate Athletics Director of Compliance. He came to JU after serving as the Director of Compliance at Campbell University in Buies Creek, N.C.

The Garner, North Carolina native received his bachelor’s degree in sports management from Campbell University and a master's degree in College Athletic Administration from Coker College in Hartsville, S.C.

Justin and his wife, Cindy have two children, Micah, and Savannah.
