Jacksonville Athletics Renews and Expands Agreement with Nike and BSN Sports

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Jacksonville University Athletics is proud to announce a renewed and expanded partnership with BSN Sports to be the University's exclusive Nike apparel and footwear provider with a contract designed to enhance the experience of all student-athletes, the department and greater campus community.

"We are excited to announce the continued partnership with BSN and Nike," Senior Vice President and Athletic Director Alex Ricker-Gilbert said. "This deal represents the continuation of our top priority of putting our student-athletes at the forefront in our decision-making process."

Jacksonville and BSN Sports have partnered for some time and this new seven-year deal, set to go into effect on July 1, 2020 creates advanced opportunity for expanded support across all athletics department supported programs and departments on campus.

The new agreement will  include numerous incentives in the form of discounts and rewards along with incentives for on-field achievements and additional marketing and promotional opportunities.

Ricker-Gilbert continued, "From a campus-wide perspective, the renewed partnership creates enhanced opportunities across all campus departments. I am thrilled our entire JU community can benefit as we move forward with Nike and BSN."

BSN Sports will be the exclusive supplier of Nike products for any and all of Jacksonville's athletic apparel, footwear and equipment needs. The Dolphins have enjoyed a successful partnership with BSN Sports over the past several years.

Bill Stote, Collegiate Select Senior Vice President of BSN Sports added, "This agreement with Jacksonville University affirms our highest aspirations for BSN's Collegiate Select program: delivering elite, customized products and services to our college customers.  We are excited to partner with Dolphin Athletics to elevate the performance and impact of their top-notch and growing athletic program."

Ricker-Gilbert noted the "impeccable timing" of the expanded partnership, acknowledging that "in the last week alone, Jacksonville teams celebrated several pivotal wins over major conference opponents." The softball program upended Villanova last weekend (Feb. 9), 5-1, prior to the women's lacrosse team knocking off Oregon (Feb. 14), 17-10, the men's lacrosse program taking down Marquette (Feb. 15), 11-9 and the baseball program besting West Virginia (Feb. 15), 4-3, all in less than 24 hours.
