Chris Mauloni (0-1) sat down the first five batters he faced in the ninth and tenth inning but gave up back-to-back walks followed by the game winning single to end the game.

Christian Coipel opened the scoring for the Dolphins (1-4) in the first inning with a 3-run blast to right center after Scott Dubrule reached on a fielding error by the Gators left fielder and a Cory Heffron walk.

AJ Jones battled through the tough Gators lineup allowing two runs off of a sac fly and a wild pitch through the first four innings before giving up a homerun to begin the fifth. After getting a fly out followed by a single up the middle in the fifth, Jones was lifted for Jagger McCoy who proceeded to pitch 1.2 scoreless innings with two strikeouts. Nick Love came in to relieve McCoy and threw two innings allowing no runs with one strikeout.
