Colgate grabbed an early 1-0 lead in the top of the first. The Dolphins, however, didn't let the Raiders hold on to the lead for very long. The Colgate pitcher struggled to strike out the
Dolphins and was quickly dealing with loaded bases.

Makenzie Buss.
The game went back in favor of the Raiders in the top of the third as they scored three runs on three hits to take a 4-1 lead.

Madison Kennedy was served four balls and scored when Alyssa Gennaro-Ferrante reached first on a fielding error by the Furman shortstop.
Leah Zatkiewicz came in to pinch run for Kennedy and reached home when
Carolyn O'Neal put the ball into play with an RBI single to center field. The Dolphins still had the tying run in scoring position, but the game ended when Gennaro-Ferrante was caught stealing for the third out.
