Dolphins Score Season-High 79 in Win vs. Ave Maria

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Dolphins (4-2) welcomed Ave Maria (5-6) for the first time in recorded history, winning comfortably 79-53.

After only scoring a total of 35 in their win this past Monday, JU came out firing immediately tonight. The Dolphins scored 22 in the first quarter while holding the Gyrenes to only seven points.

That dominance would continue in the next twenty minutes, as JU drained multiple three-pointers to score a whopping 26 points in the third quarter alone. For the first time this season, the three-point shot was falling for JU as they hit a season-high six.

This game was the highest scoring game offensively for the Dolphins this season, scoring ten more than their previous high of 69.

JU starts their week off on a high note after two wins against FIU and Ave Maria, respectively as they look to cap off their week at home on Saturday, December 4th for a matchup against Florida A&M at 2PM.
