PHILADELPHIA, PA – Jacksonville Women's Rowing finished up their single-race day at the Dad Vail Regatta on Saturday with the JV4+ boat finishing up in fourth place out of six teams in the Grand Final.
Racing alongside boats from Lafayette, Wisconsin, Bowdoin, MIT, and Colorado, the Dolphin V4 posted a time of 07:32.761 just missing out on the bronze medal. Coming in before JU was Bowdoin who posted a third-place time of 07:27.099, and behind JU in fifth and sixth were MIT and Colorado who posted times of 07:35.821 and 08:06.787 respectively.
Now with a couple tune up races under their belt, the JV4+ will be joined by two Varsity 8's and one other Varsity 4 for tomorrow's MAAC Championship which will kick off with the 1
st Varsity 4+ heat race at 10 am.
