Dolphins Dominate on Senior Day, Clinch Share of ASUN Regular Season Title

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - In the regular season finale, the Jacksonville University men's lacrosse team defeated Bellarmine 22-7, clinching their share of the Atlantic Sun regular season title. It was the fifth straight win for Jacksonville, the 11th overall, capping off the season with another elite performance on both ends.

The Numbers
Three Dolphins earned a hat trick in the game, with Jacob Greiner, Jackson Intrieri and Marshall McGuire all scoring three times. Intrieri led the way in assists as well, earning four, one ahead of Greiner, who finished with three. Jack Taylor and Anthony Caputo joined the pair with multiple assists, adding two to the offensive firepower.

Defensively, JU had three goalies enter the game, with Della Rocco having 10 saves on five goals allowed while Paul Reidy and Josh Estavillo combined for seven saves in relief. Nathan Kapp was dominant as the faceoff specialist, winning 18-22 and grabbing 10 ground balls. Quinn Fuller finished with two caused turnovers, while Chris Darminio grabbed five ground balls, which was good for second place on the team.
