Jacksonville Athletics Announce 2025 Hall of Fame Class

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Jacksonville University Athletics proudly announces the Hall of Fame Class of 2025. The class includes five outstanding student-athletes who made an indelible mark on their respective programs and Jacksonville University.

"We are thrilled to welcome the Class of 2025 into the Jacksonville University Hall of Fame," said Athletic Director Alex Ricker-Gilbert. "This group represents the pinnacle of athletic excellence here at JU. Their achievements, both during and after their time as Dolphins, truly exemplify the dedication and competitive spirit we strive for. We look forward to celebrating their incredible careers."

Sarah Sigrest Caffrey '11 – Softball

A dominant force on the mound, Sarah Sigrest Caffrey was recently elected to the ASUN Hall of Fame in 2025. Her exceptional career culminated in her being named the 2011 ASUN Pitcher of the Year and the ASUN Tournament MVP in the same season. Caffrey remains the program's all-time leader in wins (68) and saves (6), and ranks second in career ERA (1.97) and strikeouts (613). Her 27 wins and 1.10 ERA in 2011 set single-season program records, with the ERA ranking eighth-best in the nation that year.

Chad Hauseman '03 – Baseball

Chad Hauseman was a stellar slugger and key component of the Dolphin Baseball program for multiple seasons. He earned the highest individual honors for his final campaign, being named the 2003 ASUN Player of the Year and an All-American. Hauseman contributed to the team being a member of three NCAA Regional teams. Following his career at JU, he was drafted by the Anaheim Angels in the 24th round of the 2003 MLB June Amateur Draft.

Tommy Krizanovic '06 – Men's Soccer

A powerful and consistent scorer, Tommy Krizanovic earned three All-Region selections during his time with the Men's Soccer program. His production made him the recipient of the 2006 ASUN Player of the Year award. Krizanovic was a national leader on the pitch, leading NCAA Division I in average goals scored per game during his junior and senior seasons. He remains one of the top offensive players in program history, ranking 3rd all-time in goals (38) and 5th all-time in points (86). He was drafted 43rd overall in the MLS Draft and went on to play professionally for FC Dallas and the Jacksonville Armada.

Michael Pustay '79 – Baseball

Michael Pustay's career was defined by longevity and production, with him setting long-standing records on the mound for the Dolphins. He is the program's all-time leader in wins (25) and innings pitched (340.1), and ranks 2nd in complete games (21). Early in his JU career, he was a pitcher for the 1976 Regional Finalist team, notably recording a win against the #1-seeded Florida State in the Regional elimination game. Pustay pitched seven innings to defeat the Seminoles, striking out five batters and allowing just two runs.

Sarah Simon '12 – Softball

Sarah Simon had one of the most productive careers in Softball program history, resulting in her being named the 2012 ASUN Player of the Year. She left Jacksonville University as the all-time leader in major offensive categories including home runs, RBI, walks, slugging percentage, on-base percentage, and total bases. Her dominant senior season saw her lead the Atlantic Sun in four key statistical categories: slugging percentage (.790), on-base percentage (.529), home runs (16), and total bases (113)
