Cuddy, Berry Named Captains Ahead of 2026 Season

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. --- Jacksonville women's lacrosse announced its leadership for the 2026 season, with senior Maggie Cuddy and junior Allyx Berry being named captains ahead of the upcoming spring season.

Cuddy and Berry were both named to the All-ASUN First Team a season ago, leading the Dolphins to a regular season conference crown.
Cuddy has risen up the ranks as one of Jacksonville's all-time most productive defenders. She's recorded 84 ground balls and caused 57 turnovers in her college career. She's started every game for the Dolphins in each of the last two seasons.

In addition to her success in the college ranks, she's become a stalwart of the international game for Team Canada. She was a key contributor for Canada at the U-20 World Lacrosse Championship and represented Canada at the Super Sixes event earlier this fall.

Berry became a breakout star for the Dolphins last season, starting all 16 games, scoring 19 goals and dishing 10 assists. A former All-Freshman honoree, Berry has played in 34 games in her college career, becoming a stalwart and leader for Jacksonville early in her college career.

She was Jacksonville's only upperclassman named to the All-ASUN First Team last season.

Cuddy and Berry will lead the Dolphins into the 2026 season as Jacksonville seeks its 10th conference championship and a berth in the NCAA Tournament.
