MOBILE, Ala --The Jacksonville Dolphins had a tough showing on Saturday, falling to the South Alabama Jaguars by final score of 15-1.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Dolphins were trailing 7-0 in the fifth inning when they plated their first run on the board. Junior Clayton Hodges came across to score off of a Jaguar error to plate the single run of the game for JU. The Dolphins were unable to get any closer, as South Alabama added eight runs to their tally on the way to a 15-1 final.
GAME NOTES
- Jacksonville pitchers faced 38 South Alabama hitters in the game, allowing 10 ground balls and four fly balls.
- Senior Aidan Masters led the Dolphins at the plate, going 1-for-3.
- South Alabama was led offensively by junior Kyle Morrison, who went 2-for-4 with a double, a home run and five RBI.
