JACKSONVILLE, Fla. --Senior Richard Long was mowing people down on Friday, punching out nine Queens hitters over nine innings of work to help power the Dolphins past the Royals 3-1.
In addition to his nine strikeouts, Long (5-2) threw all nine innings, giving up one run (unearned) on three hits and walking none for Jacksonville (14-11, 4-3).

Jonah Shields, pushing the lead to 3-1.
The score remained unchanged for the rest of the game, as the Dolphins held on for the 3-1 win.
