Dolphins Drop Final Contest to UNF

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – In the final contest between UNF and JU, the Dolphins fell to the visiting Ospreys 8-3.

Jacksonville (15-18, 2-7) was swept in the series but gave itself chances to take the game early behind some timely hitting.

Down 3-0, Tatum McCool cranked a solo homer to right field for her second dinger of the year. Later in the inning, Madison Bratek knocked in a double that scored Jazz Jones.

In the fourth, a passed ball scored Averi Harcus to tie the contest at 3-3. From there, UNF tacked on five runs in the fifth to take the final game of the series.

McCool led the team with a 2-2 showing, grabbing two of the team's five hits.

In the circle, Jacy Harrelson (2-3) went 4 2/3 innings. Harrelson and reliever Jordan White each struck out one.

Jacksonville now turns its attention to a contest with West Georgia. The Dolphins will hit the road for a three-game series starting on April 5.
