JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville University men's lacrosse team fell 15-12 to Air Force in the ASUN Semifinals.
How It Happened
Jacksonville raced to an 8-4 lead at halftime, outscoring Air Force 4-2 in both the first and second quarters. After scoring the first two goals of the second half, Air Force began an eight goal run, erasing the deficit and earning a 12-10 lead.
Jacksonville scored twice, cutting the deficit to one each time but ultimately came up short in the end.
The Numbers
- Jackson Intrieri became the program's all-time points leader for the program. Setting the record at 226 and finishing the game at 229 points in his career.
- Lucas Fraser and Charlie DiGennaro led the team in CT's with 2.
- Drew Rippeon finished with five groundballs and went 15-29 at the faceoff.
