ORLANDO, Fla. – The Jacksonville University men's soccer team fell to UCF, 2-0, in a non-conference matchup Thursday at the UCF Soccer Complex.
Jem Hewlett scored a goal in each half for the Knights, both assisted by Clarence Awoudor. Hewlett's first goal came in the 39th minute, and he followed it up with his second in the 69th minute.
The Dolphins (2-3-1) were outshot 13-5 in the match, with only two shots on goal. Jacksonville goalkeeper Christian Sekanina made three saves on the day.
