Morgan DePew

Former collegiate baseball player Morgan DePew enters his first season as a Volunteer Assistant Coach with Jacksonville baseball for the 2019 season. 

Pior to coming to the River City, DePew spent the 2017 & 2018 season as the Outfield Coach at Saint Leo University in Saint Leo, Fla, also assisting with hitters and base running.

Before his time in the Sunshine State, DePew served as the third base and infield coach for the La Crosse Loggers of the Northwoods League during the summer of 2017. His first coaching position out of college came at Lee University in Cleveland, Tenn., where he served as the outfield coach in 2016 & 2017. 

A four-year collegiate athlete, DePew began his playing career at Illinois Central College, before transferring to Saint Joseph's College for his final two seasons. 

DePew earned an associate's degree from Illinois Central in 2014, later recieving a bachelor's from Saint Joseph's in sport management in 2016.
