Managed a young staff consisting of five fr./soph. with a bulk of the innings (65-percent) including a rotation of two freshman, and a sophomore…had his best offensive year in every statistical category… third most doubles on team with 14...fifth on team in hits...nine doubles in conference play was a league best...sixth in conference play in average and hits...16 multi-hit games...six multi-RBI games…tied for fourth in conference in runners-caught stealing

2014: 

• Named a team captain
• Medical Redshirt after sustaining injury

2013:

• Started 48 of 51 games primarily at catcher or third base
• Hit .241 (41 of 170) with seven double
• Was second on the team with 24 runs scored and 24 RBI
• Had five sacrifice hits
• Recorded 11 multi-hit games and was second on the team with six multi-RBI games
• Hit a team high .385 (15 of 39) with runners in scoring position
• Went 2-4 with a double and three RBI in a 7-6 loss at Florida (March 6, 2013)
• Named to the A-Sun All-Academic list for posting a GPA over 3.0

PRIOR TO JU:

• Played two seasons for Nick Fascardo at Fullerton College
• As a sophomore, he batted .369 with two home runs and 27 RBI  
• Earned all-conference and team MVP honors

HIGH SCHOOL:

• Three-year starter at El Dorado High School for Dave Moore and Steve Gulloti  
• Named team MVP his final two seasons  
• As a senior, he hit .330 with 34 RBI, 19 runs and seven doubles to earn first team all-league honors  
• As a junior, he batted .361 with 15 RBI and 10 runs.
