• Four-year starter at Osceola High School under Scott Birchler 
• Named Bright House Networks preseason central Florida Top 20 players to watch in 2011
• Earned first team All-County honors on three occasions
• As a senior, he hit .414 with six doubles and a home run in 86 plate appearances to earn team offensive Player of the Year honors  
• As a freshman, he was named team “Freshman of the Year” after helping the Kowboys to a district title and Sweet 16 berth with a 23-4 record  
• Played AAU baseball for the Orlando Scorpions
