Biography

2015:

One of the most dynamic players on the team, Perez was the catalyst in the outfield with the fewest errors of all position players on the Dolphins … awarded Player of the Week for his three straight multi-hit games in series win at Kennesaw State… most hits in a game (5-for-6) by a Dolphin since 2011… batted .324 in conference with seven multi-hit games …three conference games with three or more hits … 10 multi-hit games … four multi-RBI games … ended the season with six-straight games reaching base … pitched in eight games with four starts … last three games surrendered two earned runs in 7.1 innings with five strikeouts.

2014:

Played in 28 games, starting in 22 ... 24 hits in 84 at-bats for a .286 average, 
.369 SLG and .326 OBP ... had five doubles and 12 RBI ... went 3-for-5 with a double and first triple as a Dolphin vs. Mercer (03/23) ... first stolen base as a Dolphin vs. Kennesaw State 03/29) ... did not record an error ... 11 appearances on the mound and went 1-1 and a 7.77 ERA ... nine strikeouts and 10 walks.

Prior to Jacksonville:

Hit .341 (46-for-135) in 44 games for Seminole State helping to lead the team to a 36-14 record in 2013 ... scored 19 runs and added 26 RBI ... posted a 3.86 ERA in 16.1 innings pitched ... made two starts in six appearances ... signed by current JU Assistant Head Coach, Chris Hayes, out of high school to play at Seminole State.

High School:

Named First-Team All Conference and was also recognized as a member of the All-Central Florida Second Team by the Orlando Sentinel in 2012.
