Andrew Ballock enters his first season as a graduate manager for Jacksonville in 2020-21.
Ballock started his collegiate career at Missouri Southern State University before transferring to Cloud County Community College, where he played for one season before finishing his career at perennial NCAA Division II powerhouse Drury. As a senior for the Panthers, Ballock started all 33 games for a team that went 21-12 and made an appearance in the NCAA Midwest Regional. He shot 46.5% from the floor during the 2018-19 season, averaging 10 points, 5.4 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game. He led the team with 175 rebounds and 47 steals and his 147 assists for the season ranked second on the team.
In his first season with the Panthers, Ballock was named to the All-Great Lakes Valley Conference Second Team and was part of a 21-8 Panther squad that also advanced to the NCAA Midwest Regional. Ballock started 27 of 29 games and averaged 9.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 3.3 assists per contest. His 159 rebounds and 98 assists led the Panthers and his 25 steals were good for second on the team. His assist-to-turnover ratio of 2.0 was good for foruth in GLVC. For his Drury career, Ballock was a 46.6% shooter and averaged 9.8 points, 5.4 rebounds and 3.9 assists per game.
At Cloud County Community College, Ballock averaged 9.8 points, 5.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game as a sophomore and helped lead the team to a 20-11 record. During his time at Missouri Southern, he appeared eight games after redshirting his freshman season.
A native of Eudora, Kansas, Ballock is one of six children to his parents Don and LaDonna. His younger brother Mitch currently plays basketball at Creighton University, while his older sisters Emily and Megan and older brother Justin attended Pittsburg State University, where all three were members of the Gorillas' track and field program.
Ballock graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications and is pursuing a Master's degree in Sports Management at Jacksonville.
