Ryan joined Coach Mincy's staff after spending the previous four years with him at the University of Florida.
During his time in Gainesville, Ryan started as a student manager and transitioned to the role of Graduate Assistant. He assisted in the day-to-day operations of the coaching staff, recruiting staff, and also worked as a video intern. In 2021, Ryan earned his master's degree in Sports Management.
Before working for the Gators, Ryan attended College of Central Florida in his hometown of Ocala, Fla. and worked as a student manager for two years under Hall of Fame coach Tim Ryan. There, Ryan was in charge of meals, team gear, team travel, and assisted extensively in summer camps.
Ryan works closely with the assistant coaches at Jacksonville to develop scouting reports on future opponents, as well as evaluate recruit film, set up official and unofficial visits, and will assist in all summer camp activities.
