Trevor Deloach enters his third season as an assistant coach at Jacksonville in 2023-24. He has been a constant on Head Coach Jordan Mincy's staff since he started at JU, and has helped the program to 34 wins in two seasons, a runner-up finish in the ASUN Men's Basketball Championship in 2022 and helped tutor Kevion Nolan to All-ASUN First Team honors in 2021-22.
Prior to JU, he served as Associate Head Coach at Nicholls State, where he showed his recruiting prowess, recruiting six players to Thibodaux that went on to receive All-Conference recognition, including Southland Newcomer of the Year Ty Gordon in 2020-21. In his last season at Nicholls, the team won 21 games, captured a regular season championship and advanced to the Southland Conference Tournament Championship game.Â
He was ranked the number five assistant coach in the Southland Conference prior to the 2020-21 season by Jeff Goodman of Stadium.Â

Deloach spent the 2016-17 and 2017-18 seasons as an assistant men’s basketball coach and recruiting coordinator at South Carolina State University, where he worked with All-MEAC guards Eric Eaves and Ed Stephens daily. He performed skill development with guards and post players, handled scheduling and was the camp director of the largest camps in school history.

Deloach served as the assistant men’s basketball coach and recruiting coordinator at Maryland Eastern Shore University from 2014-16. There he recruited several all-conference players, including 2015 MEAC Rookie of the Year Ryan Andino. He also organized travel, managed the budget and planned and controlled study hall for the Hawks.

Deloach was a graduate assistant for his alma mater, UNCW, during the 2013-14 season. For the Seahawks, he prepared scouting reports and maintained the scouting database. Deloach also managed the budget for the team’s travel and trained student-athletes during the offseason.

Deloach was the team captain for his final three seasons at UNCW.  He was an All-CAA honorable mention selection in 2011 and named most improved in 2010. During his lone season at Chipola College, he helped the Indians to a 35-2 record, including the program’s first-ever unbeaten record in the Panhandle.

Deloach earned a bachelor’s degree in mass communications from UNCW in 2011 and finished his master’s in higher education three years later.
