Previously serving as an intern and graduate assistant with the Jacksonville University strength and conditioning team since the fall of 2015, Jonathan McNemar was promoted to assistant strength and conditioning coach in 2018. He will primarily work with the Dolphins' men's lacrosse, football, and basketball teams.

During his athletic career, McNemar was a four-year letter winner in football at Fairmont State University from 2008-2013. During his 2009 season, McNemar was awarded the Iron Falcon Award which is given to the strongest and most dedicated offensive/defensive lineman in the weight room. In 2009, McNemar also competed in the NASA WV Open Championships where he finished first place in his division in the push-pull category.

McNemar holds his certification through CSCCa (SCCC) and is certified in Blood Flow Restriction training through ORS.

McNemar received his bachelor's in exercise science with a minor in nutrition from Fairmont State University in 2013, and is currently enrolled at Jacksonville University in the Masters of Kinesiology program.

A native of Charlton Heights, W.V., he currently resides in Jacksonville with his wife Katelyn McNemar and son Liam.
