Michael Bajza (By-Zuh) entered his first season as a Volunteer Assistant with Jacksonville men's soccer in 2018 before becoming a graduate assistant in 2019.
Bajza signed an contract with the Jacksonville Armada of the North American Soccer League in April 2017, and played on the team during the 2017 season.
Prior to arriving in the River City, he spent two seasons as a member of the University of South Florida Bulls men's soccer team. Bajza began his collegiate playing career at North Carolina State University, appearing in 38 games and making 34 starts during his freshman and sophomore campaigns.
During the offseason, he spent three years playing in the United Soccer League's Premier Developmental League, competing with the Seattle Sounders U-23 squad from 2014-16. He signed with Lane United FC in June 2016 and made four starts for the team to finish out the season.
A native of Tampa, Fla., Bajza was a three-year starter at Shattuck-St. Mary's Prep School in Faribault, Minnesota, netting 17 goals and leading the team to the USSDA Finals during his senior season. Following the conclusion of his high school career, he ranked among the top 100 recruits nationally by Top Drawer Soccer and ESPN Rise.
Bajza was also a former member of the Region 3 ODP team, during which he traveled to Costa Rica.
