Camille Collier took over as an assistant coach on the Dolphins staff in May of 2013 after working the past season as a graduate assistant coach at Georgia State. She was promoted to recruiting coordinator in the spring of 2016.

Prior to the promotion, the Dolphins claimed their first-ever Atlantic Sun Conference championship, and trip to the NCAA Tournament.  The team posted a record of 22-11, the third 20-win season in program history, with an 11-3 mark in conference contests.

With Collier's influence, Jacksonville's incoming class includes Florida Atlantic transfer Rolanda Hayes and three high school standouts that will comprise the Dolphins' class of 2020.

A former standout at Wake Forest, the Washington, D.C. native wrapped up her career as a student-athlete in 2011 by helping the Demon Deacons to a 20-win season and the second round of the WNIT.

“Camille embodies the necessary tools starting in this profession with her incredible work ethic and zeal,” said McCuin. “Without a doubt her energy, along with attention to detail will impact this program instantaneously.”

Collier was named to the ACC All-Academic team as freshman when she led ACC rookies with her 8.2 scoring average and also earned a place on the ACC Honor Roll two other times. She earned her degree in sociology.

“I am elated and honored to join Coach McCuin’s staff,” added Collier. “I am excited about her vision for the program and the opportunity to elevate Jacksonville women’s basketball to new heights.”
