Kaitlan Aries comes to Jacksonville University from the University of Tennessee, where she spent two years as a Coaching Assistant. At Tennessee, she was responsible for the program design and implementation for Women’s Golf and Men’s Cheerleading, and worked directly with the volleyball, softball, rowing, and track and field teams.
Prior to Tennessee, Kaitlan served as the Assistant Director of Sports Performance and Head Girls Weightlifting Coach at Gulliver Preparatory School in Miami, Florida. She also completed internships at the University of Miami (FL) and the University of Tennessee.
Kaitlan received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Tennessee in 2015 and her Masters of Science in Exercise Physiology from the University of Miami (FL) in 2017.
While attending the University of Tennessee, Kaitlan was a member of the varsity rowing team and was named a NSCA Strength and Conditioning All-American in 2015.
Kaitlan is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, a Certified Strength Coach (CSC) through the National Council on Strength and Fitness, and is a USA Weightlifting Level 1 Sport Performance Coach.
