Lindsey Craft

Head Coach Julie Darty finalized her first coaching staff withthe hiring of Lindsey Craft as her graduate assistant for the 2014season. Craft comes to Jacksonville University after a four-yearcareer with the University of South Carolina, the last two of whichcame with Darty serving as the Associate Head Coach. “I amthrilled to have Lindsey join our program here atJacksonville,” Darty said. “I had the pleasure ofgetting to know Lindsey for two years while I was able to coach herat South Carolina. Lindsey is a great role model for the girls tohave – she was a model student-athlete and I think having herhere on staff will be a huge asset for not only the players, butour staff as well. Lindsey will bring a great energy and work ethicto the program and we can all feed off of that.” In her timeat South Carolina, Craft played in 86 matches, making 21 starts forthe Gamecocks. A libero, she ended her career with 397 digs, anaverage of 1.86 per set. As a senior, her 192 digs and 2.23 digsper set average was third on the team. In addition, she made herway onto the 2010-11 SEC First-Year Academic Honor Roll, and laterwas on the 2011, 2012 and 2013 SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll. Craftgraduated from South Carolina in May with a B.A. in InternationalBusiness. She plans on pursuing a Master’s in BusinessAdministration from JU.
