Dolphins Ink NLI; Add Transfer to 2015 Roster

JU volleyball team announced the signing of Ashley Dean and the transfer of Lauren Gresham for 2015-16

The 6''2 transfer from Dayton, Gresham appeared in 18 matches recording six kills and two blocks and was named to the Atlantic 10 Commissioner''s Honor Roll.

"Lauren is a big, physical player." said Darty. "She will compete right away as one of our top outside hitters and it was an important position to address after the graduation of Sammie [Strausbaugh]." Although Sammie is irreplaceable, I believe Gresham can leave her own mark on the program and we are excited to get her for the next three years. 

A native of St. Louis, Mo., Gresham attended St. Joseph Academy where she was a four-time Academic All-State player and claimed the 2010 State Championship as a sophomore. 

"She is going to be a great blocker, a fierce attacker and is going to be a great teammate having come from a program like Dayton that plays in a very good volleyball conference," said Darty.
