Series History
In their first game in program history, the Dolphins posted a 19-14 victory over Davidson. Members from that 1998 team, nicknamed The Valley Boys, will be in attendance Saturday.
Jacksonville owns an all-time series mark of 13-6 versus Davidson. Three of those successes occurred during Homecoming & Family Weekend, for which the Dolphins hold a 15-3 all-time record.

Helped by a record-setting 514 rushing yards, Jacksonville defeated Guilford, 56-21, at D.B. Milne Field this past Saturday.
The Dolphins, who are currently working a three-game winning streak, scored on all but two drives in the first half en route to a 42-7 edge. On their very first possession, senior captain Jamal Adjamah scored on a 53-yard touchdown, and followed the act on the next drive with a 69-yard score.
- Adjamah finished the day with 141 rushing yards and Irvin Riley added 124; Adjamah (163) and Ulysses Bryant (115) were the last two Dolphins to rush for 100+ yards in a single game (vs. Morehead State, 10/3/15)
- Wade Benton, Jake Brito, and Joey Bernardini scored their first touchdowns of the season
- Quarterback Ryder Litten saw action in the final quarter and scored his first career touchdown on a one-yard pass
- Adjamah is 64 yards shy of reaching 1,000 in his career
