JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Jacksonville University football announced its 2019 promotional schedule on Tuesday.
 
Along with the promotional schedule, season tickets for next season are now on sale.
 
Everything kicks off with Family Fun Day on August 17. Coinciding with a scrimmage at D.B. Milne Field and a chance to get a first look at the 2019 Dolphins, there will be bounce houses, a free clinic for children age 12 and under and an autograph session with the 2019 schedule poster.
 
The home opener is September 21, and is Duval Day. Any youth football or cheerleading team that attends will be recognized during the game. Contact Dylan Warnell for more info.
 
September 28 is Band Day and also a Green Out. High school bands will have the opportunity to perform alongside the JU Ripcurrent Band, and all fans are encouraged to wear green to the game. Plan to get there early, as there will also be a student tailgate before kickoff.
 
Military Appreciation Day is October 12, and all active and retired military and their families will receive free admission to the game. The first 200 students in attendance can pick up a free JU Dolphins Military t-shirt.
 
Homecoming is scheduled for October 19 this year. All current, former and future Dolphins are encouraged to attend the game as part of a full weekend of activities. Learn more about 2019 Homecoming at ju.edu/homecoming.
 
November 2 is Educator Appreciation Day, with all those who work in the education field receiving free admission with their families. It is also T-shirt Exchange Day, with the opportunity for fans who bring a Florida Gators or Georgia Bulldogs shirt to the game to exchange it for a JU Dolphins shirt.
 
Senior Day is November 23, with the 2019 seniors being honored in a pregame ceremony prior to kickoff.

Jacksonville starts the 2019 season at Richmond on Thursday, August 29 at 7 p.m. The home schedule begins Saturday, Sept. 21 vs. Dartmouth at 1 p.m.
