ATLANTA - Ga. - The ASUN announced its 2022 Preseason All-Conference Team this Monday and named Victoria Rodebaugh to their team, representing Jacksonville University. 

"Tori can do so many things. Good defender...hits for average, handles the bat very well....she's a smart and aggressive baserunner..." said Head Coach Eric Ayers following the announcement. Going into her fourth year at JU, Rodebaugh has been a staple for this Jacksonville squad and looks to bring her veteran status to another level this season. 

Outside of her playing abilities, her energy and passion separate her from the crowd, according to Coach Ayers. "She has a motor that won't stop and drives the team's energy," and her coaching staff believes in her ability to take on a leadership role on this team after spending the last few years with the Dolphins. They believe she can be a good leader for the players and team as a whole. 

In her junior year (2021), Rodebaugh started all 48 games she played in at third base and saw some time in centerfield as well, speaking to her utility position on this team and ability to make an impact both in the infield and outfield. She led the Dolphins with a batting average of .311, with six doubles, two triples, 17 RBIs and 20 runs. The senior from Eustis, Florida is lined up to have a stellar senior campaign and the ASUN has recognized what lies ahead.
