Nashville, Tenn. – For the second consecutive match during the Tennessee road trip, the Jacksonville University women's soccer team (4-3-4, 1-3-2) came away with a tie, this time against Lipscomb following 90 scoreless minutes.
Just two minutes into the contest, the Green and White looked to jump on the Bisons early, as
Anaya Black's shot attempt was deflected by the goalkeeper and would finish crashing into the left post.
Black's attempt was the lone shot on goal for the 'Phins in the opening half, as goalkeeper
Murphy Sheaff would stop seven Lipscomb shot attempts in the first 45 minutes.
Coming out of the half, Jacksonville would create multiple opportunities to score early, as
Hannah Bielicke and
Selma Fohrer would have shots on goal in the 51
st minute.
The defensive battle would continue for the remainder of the contest, as neither team could find the back of the net.
For the second consecutive match, the Dolphins would collect a point in the ASUN standings with the tie.

Murphy Sheaff would stop 11 Bisons shot attempts, matching her career best in the second-straight match.
The Green and White return to Southern Oak Stadium on Thursday, welcoming the Liberty Flames for a 7 PM showdown.
