Women’s Lacrosse Heads to Charlotte to Face Notre Dame

CHARLOTTE, NC. –  #20 Jacksonville Women's Lacrosse travels up to Charlotte, NC on Sunday where they will take on Notre Dame in their first of two neutral site games this season.

In their last time out on Saturday, March 5, the Dolphins marched to a commanding victory over East Carolina by a score of 24-5.

In the match, Jenny Kinsey was incredible notching seven goals and one assist, while also converting on three of four free position attempts. Paige Pagano was able to claim her first recorded win in net for the Phins, recording six saves and only one goal allowed.

WHO

Looking forward to this Sunday's matchup, JU will face off against a struggling Notre Dame team that has started their season just 2-5 with notable losses to Northwestern, Syracuse and Virginia Tech in their last game out.

In the two team's history they have only faced each other twice with Notre Dame taking both games by a combined 24 goals. With three seasons of growth in between this Sunday and their last matchup in 2018, JU will look to flip the script and claim their first program win over the Fighting Irish.

The match will take place at Matthews Sportsplex in Charlotte, NC with opening draw scheduled for 12:00 pm.
