Huntsville, Ala. – The Jacksonville University women's soccer team was victorious Sunday afternoon, shutting out Alabama A&M, 1-0.

Anaya Black found the back of the net for her first collegiate goal. The score held, having the Dolphins enter halftime with a one-goal advantage.
The Jacksonville defense continued to pitch the shutout in the second half, as three JU goalkeepers combined for three saves.
In the end, Jacksonville would defeat A&M 1-0, giving Jacksonville their first victory of the season.
The Dolphins return to the field this Wednesday, traveling to South Carolina State.
