JACKSONVILLE, FLA- Jacksonville University Women's Basketball took on Kennesaw State for the Pink out game in Swisher Gymnasium Thursday evening. The Dolphins fell short 47-54. 
Both teams traded points early in the first quarter. A jumper from Jalisa Dunlap and a layup from Shynia Jackon extended the lead by four. The Dolphins outscored the Owls in the first quarter 18 to 14. The Owls started the second quarter with a 5-0 run. The Dolphins stole the momentum back. Two three-pointers from MaKayla Edwards and Delayna Gillard sealed the quarter going into halftime with a score of 32-22.  
In the third quarter the Dolphins came out with the same energy before halftime. A jumper from Seraphine Bastin and Dunlap extended the lead by 11. The momentum shifted in favor for the Owls late in the third quarter. Kennesaw State fought back to get into the game by trialing 8. late in the quarter the Owls were in range of two. Kennesaw State carried the momentum into the final quarter. Both programs traded points midway through the game. The Owls pulled away and extended the lead by seven to finish the game.

The Dolphins are back home for Senior day against Jacksonville State at 1pm.
