JACKSONVILLE, Fla.- As February turns to March, the end of JU's crossover season is in sight. Some sports are kicking off their season while others are in the heat of it and competing for spots in their respected postseason. The Dolphins play host to 14 events in this weeks week in review
Baseball

Feb. 28 vs. Florida, 6 PM
Mar. 3-5 vs. Southeastern Louisiana, 6 PM (Fri), 2 PM (Sat), 1 PM (Sun)
- Hosts Florida on Tuesday at 6 p.m. and then travels to Gainesville to face them again on Wednesday
- The Dolphins swept Siena in a four-game weekend set, scoring 32 runs in the four games
- JU hosts another weekend series, welcoming Southeastern Louisiana to John Sessions Stadium for three games starting Friday at 6 p.m.

Mar. 3 Rock the Docks
Mar. 4 vs. Florida
- The men's rowing program starts their spring season with their 'Rock the Docks' event on Friday
- The team then hosts the University of Florida the next morning. Both events are the only two events that are hosted by the Dolphins in the spring
Women's Basketball

Mar. 1 vs. North Alabama, 7 PM - Military Appreciation Day
- The Dolphins take on North Alabama at 7pm in Swisher Gymnasium
- Shynia Jackson led the Dolphins with 26 points and 15 rebounds against North Alabama last Thursday.
- Jackson shot 11-17 from the field.
Women's Lacrosse

Mar. 3 vs. #16 Arizona State, 4 PM
- Jacksonville Womens Lacrosse continues their home contests facing off against No. 16 Arizona State this Friday at 4 pm.

Mar. 4 vs. Florida
- The Dolphins women's rowing program also kicks off their spring season with their 'Rock the Docks' waterfront celebration.
- The following day, the Florida Gators will be at Negaard Rowing Center to compete against JU
Softball

Mar. 4 vs. Charleston Southern (DH), 11 AM
- Jax Softball had a strong weekend going 3-1 in the Mercer Invitational in Macon, Ga.
- Allison Bratek had 8 RBI's this past weekend
- The Dolphins host the JU/UNF Spring Break Challenge at UNF Mar. 3-5, (times will be posted soon)
