JACKSONVILLE, FLA- Jacksonville University Women's Basketball program traveled to Nashville Tennessee to match up against the Lady Bisons Thursday evening in Allen Arena. The Dolphins fall short 52-61. 

Lipscomb went on a 7-0 run early in the first quarter. A three pointer from MaKayla Edwards ended the run for the Dolphins. A layup from Seraphine Bastin cut the deficit to four. The Lady Bisons went on a run late going three for three from the field goal extending the lead ending the first quarter. In the second quarter the Dolphins struggled offensively until back-to-back three pointers from Edwards. With seconds on the clock, a layup from Shynia Jackson cut the lead to four going into halftime. Lipscomb led going into halftime 25-21.  

To start the third quarter Bastin with a layup within seconds of the game. Graham with a floater sparked some energy for Jacksonville. The Dolphins fought back to lead 36-35 with a three pointer from Graham. Graham took over with another three-pointer to continue to lead by two. Jacksonville shot 64 percent from the field whereas Lipscomb shot 54 percent. In the final quarter Jalisa Dunlap extended the lead by five with a three pointer from the corner. After the shot Jacksonville went on a scoring drought for three minutes. The Lady Bisons went on a 9-0 run in the last minute of the game to extend the lead by seven. Lipscomb held the momentum the last seconds of the game

The Dolphins travel down the road to Clarksville to play Austin Peay Saturday afternoon at 1pm.
