CLEMSON, S.C.- Jacksonville University women's softball team concluded day two of the Clemson Classic.
The Dolphins (12-11) split 1-1 on day two of the Clemson Classic, winning 12-3 against Bryant and 0-9 against Clemson.
Game 1
The Dolphins started the day off great in the second inning. Victoria Rodebaugh singled to left field. Joely Leguizamon singled to second base and Rodebaugh advanced to second base. Tatianna Davis singled through the left side; Leguizamon advanced to second and Rodebaugh scored. Madison Reynolds flied out to center field and Leguizamon advanced to third. Davis stole second base and Leguizamon scored on a throwing error.
The Dolphins continued the momentum throughout the other three innings. Jacksonville scored a total of nine runs by the fifth inning.
Jacksonville gave up two runs in the third inning and one run late in the fifth inning.
The Dolphins defeated the Bulldogs 12-3 in five innings.
Game 2
Clemson jumped out the gate with momentum scoring 9 runs in the first inning. The Dolphins remained scoreless throughout five innings.
