HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. – Jacksonville University women's golf climbed two spots on the final leaderboard and finished T4 in the rain-shortened Low Country Invitational on Sunday.

Susana Olivares went low to finish T7 in the event at Moss Creek Golf Club that was shortened to 36 holes after rain wiped out all action on Saturday.

Olivares went birdie hunting, opening the day with consecutive red numbers on her third and fourth holes. After three pars in her final five holes of the front nine, she shook off a tough start to the back nine by firing four-straight birdies on holes 12 through 15. She ended the day with two pars in her final three holes and shot a 72 to climb 23 spots into the top-10. Her seven total birdies were best in the field for the event.

Jenna Fonda came home with a top-20 finish, placing 16th. After just five pars in the front nine, she turned around and started the back-nine with a pair of birdies. She completed her round with five pars in her final seven, moving up eight spots herself.

Casey Powell finished in the top-25, making 10 total pars on the day. Ivete Rodrigues had nine pars and Ashley Huffman had five pars and a birdie.

The Dolphins were third-best as a team on Par-5s for the week and were tied for fifth on Par-3s.
