Softball Falls Short Against Charleston Southern

JACKSONVILLE, FLA - Jacksonville University softball played their second matchup against Charleston Southern Sunday morning.  

The Dolphins (9-9) fell short to the Buccaneers (8-7) with a score of 4-2.  

Charleston Southern started off early scoring with three runs in the top of the second inning. The momentum carried over in the third inning with the Buccaneers scoring another run.  

In the fourth inning, Madison Bratek walked to first base. Her sister Allison Bratek homered to left field allowing M. Bratek to score.  

The momentum of the remainder of the game stayed constant throughout the last three innings.  

ON DECK  

The Dolphins return home to matchup with Northern Kentucky at 6:00 PM.
