JACKSONVILLE, FLA – Kennesaw State scored five runs in the sixth inning to beat Jacksonville 6-0 in the series finale Sunday at Debbie and Fred Pruitt Complex.
The Owls entered the inning with a slim 1-0 lead and scored early to go up by two.
Right fielder Kiera Cooper then hit a grand slam home run to end the scoring 6-0.
JU (20-22, 6-9) managed only one hit, a third inning bunt single by Victoria Rodebaugh.
