JACKSONVILLE, FLA – Jacksonville University women's basketball Head Coach Special Jennings spoke at Waterleaf's National Elementary Honor Society induction Wednesday evening.
"It was a pleasure to be selected to speak on behalf of the National Elementary Honors Society at Water Leaf Elementary! Anytime you get to engage with and support the youth, it's a no brainer. Impacting the youth is something I inspire to do day in and day out! Again, I am super grateful for the opportunity, thank you Water Leaf Elementary!" said Jennings
Her speech was about the four fundamental pillars that are essential for personal growth and the betterment of society. The pillars included leadership, scholarship, service, and responsibility.
"Leadership, scholarship, service, and responsibility are interconnected and interdependent pillars that enable us to create a meaningful and purposeful life." said Jennings.
