JACKSONVILLE, Fla. --- The Jacksonville women's basketball program released its 2025-26 schedule. The 29-game slate features 15 match-ups at Swisher Gymnasium, and several high-profile road trips to face power conference foes.
The Dolphins open the season against Charleston Southern of the Southern Conference at historic Swisher Gymnasium Nov. 3. Jacksonville has won its last four season openers, including a 80-59 blowout win over Edward Waters last season.
After a home tilt with Florida Tech Nov. 6, JU travels south to Gainesville to face the Florida Gators Nov. 10. This is Jacksonville's third all-time match-up with the Gators and first since 2017. Florida reached the semifinals of the WBIT a season ago.
The Dolphins stay on the road to face another premier opponent, traveling to Atlanta for a battle against Georgia Tech Nov. 16. This is Jacksonville's second bout with the Yellow Jackets, with JU's first trip to Atlanta coming in 2017. Georgia Tech is one of three NCAA tournament teams on the schedule this season.
Jacksonville will play a pair of home contests to close out November, hosting Florida International Nov. 22 and Georgia Southwestern Nov. 25. The Dolphins will travel across the state for a road game against Florida A&M Dec. 2 before another home match-up, this time against Coastal Carolina Dec. 6.
Jacksonville will go on one more power conference road trip in December, traveling to the Lone Star State for a Texas two-step.
They'll face reigning Big 12 champions TCU Dec. 14. The Horned Frogs reached the Elite Eight a season ago, and serves as Jacksonville's first ever trip to Fort Worth. The Dolphins close their non-conference travels against Texas Tech Dec. 17.
After a brief winter break, JU gets one more tuneup before conference play, hosting Bethune-Cookman Dec. 30.
The conference season starts on New Year's Day against Austin Peay at Swisher Gymnasium. Among the highlights of the conference slate include a trip to reigning league champs Florida Gulf Coast (Feb. 7) and the River City Rumble against UNF at home in the regular season finale Feb. 27.
The ASUN Tournament, now played in downtown Jacksonville's VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena, starts March 3.
