JACKSONVILLE, FLA – Jacksonville University fell short in game one in a three-game series against North Florida Thursday night.
The Dolphins (23-26, 9-13) lost to the Ospreys (29-21-1, 10-11-1) with a score of 5-4
In the first inning, junior shortstop Madison Reynolds singled through the left side and advanced to second on a passed ball. Allison Bratek flied out to left field and Reynolds scored the only run for the Dolphins.
Reynolds doubled down the left field line in the top of the sixth inning. A. Bratek doubled to left field allowing Reynolds to score. Junior from Valrico, Fla. Kailey Harrigan homered to center field sending Bratek home as well.
This is her second home run of the season.
In the bottom of the third inning, UNF scored three runs and added another in the bottom of the fifth.
