JACKSONVILLE, Fla.- The Jacksonville women's soccer team fell to the Lipscomb Bisons 5-0 on Sunday afternoon.

The Atlantic Sun preseason favorites, the Bisons, entered Sunday's match undefeated in conference play and yet to allow a goal during that stretch. Lipscomb scored twice in the opening 23 minutes of the first half. The Dolphins, with a record of (2-7-2), were able to gain more possession as the half progressed. Shots from

Lillian Young saw Jacksonville attempting to pull a goal back, but the Lipscomb defense remained strong, keeping the score at 2-0 at halftime.

The second half witnessed much of the same action as the first half. Lipscomb, leading the conference in goals scored, found the back of the net an additional three times. The Dolphins fought hard, but ultimately, the preseason conference favorites left with all three points and a 5-0 win. Five different Bisons recorded points on the afternoon.
