JACKSONVILLE, FL --The Jacksonville Volleyball team could not overcome an opposing Lady Bisons offense Saturday at home losing to Lipscomb in straight sets (19-25, 19-25, 19-25).
Bre McDonough finished with 12 kills on the day to lead the Dolphins offense. Ana Tobar had 10 digs to lead them defensively.
How It Happened
SET 1 | The Dolphins found themselves in an early hole, dropping a tough first set 25-19. Jacksonville trailed by as many as six points as Lipscomb grabbed the advantage for good at 14-13 in a set that was tied up seven times before the Lady Bisons took over in the second half of the set.
SET 2 | Jacksonville then dropped set two 25-19 to fall behind in the match two sets to none. JUÂ trailed by as many as six points as Lipscomb grabbed the advantage for good at 17-16 in a set that was knotted up six times.
SET 3 | Lipscomb finished the sweep with a set-three victory. The Dolphins dropped the set 25-19 despite a solid showing on the attacking end. Jacksonville put together a .364 attack percentage with 14 kills in the set loss.
