ATHENS, GA --The Jacksonville Volleyball team lost to Georgia in three sets (14-25, 18-25, 16-25) Saturday morning on the road at Stegeman Coliseum.

Lauren Nelson finished with 10 kills on the day to lead the Dolphins offense. Ana Tobar had six digs to lead them defensively.

How It Happened:

SET 1 | The Dolphins found themselves in an early deficit, dropping a tough first set 25-14. Jacksonville trailed by as many as 11 points as Georgia never surrendered the lead in a set that was tied up zero times before the Lady Bulldogs took control.

SET 2 | Jacksonville dropped set two 25-18, digging a 2-0 hole in the match. Jacksonville trailed by as many as seven points as Georgia grabbed the advantage for good at 12-11 in a set that was tied up six times before the Lady Bulldogs took over the lead.

SET 3 | Jacksonville couldn't prolong the match and lost in set number three. The Dolphins fell behind on the first point and never clawed back into the lead before falling in the set 25-16.

Game Notes:

- Callie Kasun had a team-high one ace in the loss.
- Lauren Nelson had a match-high 10 kills for Jacksonville.
- Jacksonville got a team-high six digs from Ana Tobar.
- Dolphin attackers were helped by a team-high 24 assists from Emily Hodsdon.
