JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Dolphins lost the opening two games of its weekend series with Stetson, 7-3 and 10-0 in five innings.
JU (20-24, 7-13) kept things close in the first game with an eight-hit showing but couldn't muster enough firepower between the two contests.
In Game One,
Gabby Baylog drew a bases loaded walk with two outs to score
Jacy Harrelson, scoring the Dolphins' first run of the day in the bottom of the fourth.
During the bottom of the sixth, it was Baylog once again who hit a double to score a pair and put her team down 6-3. Baylog tied the team-lead in hits with two, alongside
Madison Bratek who posted a 2-3 afternoon.
JU's eight total hits were its most in its past five games since collecting 10 hits in the opening game against FGCU on April 12
th.
From the circle,
Skylar Waggoner (5-9) went 5 1/3 innings allowing just three earned runs. Waggoner fanned a trio before being relieved by Harrelson who went 1 2/3 innings.
Game Two went Stetson's way early as the Hatters jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the top of the first, a lead they would not relinquish.
Alison Carter led the team at the plate with a 2-2 day, collecting a third of the team's six hits.

Jacksonville will conclude its final home series of the year on Sunday, April 27
th against Stetson at 1 p.m. The game will be senior day for Jacksonville's six seniors — Pritchard, Baylog,
Haley Fox,
Averi Harcus and Bratek.
