Jacksonville University Spirit Program Earns Top Honors at NDA/NCA College Camp

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- Over the weekend, Jacksonville University's Spirit Program made an unforgettable impression at the 2025 NDA/NCA College Camp.

Individually representing the Sirens Dance Team, Mya Lee and Kirstin Arnold earned All-American recognition following three days of training, performance and competition against Division I-A, Division I and Division II programs from across Florida. Lee and Arnold's leadership and execution exemplified the strength and talent of the JU dance program.

Both the JU Cheer and the Sirens Dance Team earned Superior Ratings and claimed First Place in their respective Game Day and Rally Routine evaluations. These achievements helped to reflect the program's commitment to excellence in performance, crowd engagement and overall school spirit.

"We've only worked together for one full week as of Sunday, but I'm excited to see what more we can accomplish this season," head coach Christin Norris said. "My dancers were challenged with a lot of choreography and they truly rose to the occasion with maturity, poise and performances that I can't wait to perfect. My cheerleaders were pushed with new stunt skills, and they persevered, encouraging each other to grow and work together as a small but mighty team."

The weekend showcased not only skill and stamina but also the growing synergy and competitive edge of JU's Spirit Program as they head into a promising new season.
