DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Jacksonville University Sirens Dance team competed at the 2026 NDA College Nationals Competition Thursday morning for the first time since 2019.
The team was composed of Kirstin Arnold, Ellie Covington, Mackenna Huggins, Kallyn Johnson, Noelle Juhasz, Gianna Lee, Mya Lee, Leila Morales, Lilli Schultz and Zoe Varon.
This summer Jacksonville, showcased program potential during College NCA/NDA Camp by earning Superior ratings and a Silver bid to compete at Nationals in April.
The program's appearance and top flight performance on the national stage left an indelible mark on the program and its coaches.
"So proud of the work this team has put in this season," choreographer Camryn Ellison said. "For this being my first routine on a college nationals stage, I'm so proud and honored to be a part of this team's journey and I'm eager to continue working with them. I'm excited to see them grow as they've been a true representation of the culture that Coach Norris has worked to build."
"I couldn't have asked for a better team to bring to NDA College Nationals to showcase the heart and dedication this program has at Jacksonville University," head coach Christin Norris said. "As a Duval County native, I'm proud of the representation for the city, the school and what we're working to build. These dancers work hard when I ask and even harder when left alone. I'm excited to see what the future holds now that these 10 athletes have had a taste of Daytona, and are now legitimately hungry for more."
